Q. What are your delivery service hours?

A. Our hours of operation are 7 A.M. to 5 P.M. Monday through Saturday. We are closed on federal holidays except for medical specimen work.

Q. Can I use my credit card to pay for my same day shipment?

A. Yes. We will invoice you via your email address for your authorized services. You may provide payment via PayPal with or without a PayPal account.

Q. As a same day delivery service, do you provide any other service options beside same day delivery?

A. No. Trans City Couriers is dedicated solely to same-day deliveries. Our focus is on providing courier service to companies who require immediate service. By staying true to our focus, we continue maintaining an excellent reputation by setting the highest standards for our independent couriers.

Q. Is my package insured?

A. Yes. Unless a higher value is declared for the package at the time of tender and a greater charge paid, our liability with regard to any package is limited to the sum of $100.00.

Q. Is there a waiting time charge?

A. Yes, if waiting time exceeds 10 minutes. Charges will be calculated at the time and condition of delay.

Q. What kinds of items will you pickup and deliver?

A. We will pick-up and deliver most items of 50 lbs or less, with the exception of hazardous materials and other restricted items.

Q. Do all packages cost the same to deliver?

A. No. We have varying structured pricing for each of our customers based on the type of service provided.

Q. Can I change the destination choice of my package once it has been picked up?

A. Yes. Any changes to an order already in progress must be requested through customer service and may carry an additional fee.

Q. How long does it take for a package to get delivered?

A. All deliveries are “Same Day Delivery”, which include direct and/or scheduled routes.

Q. What geographic areas do you serve?

A. We strive to meet our clients’ delivery needs. A majority of the same day deliveries that we perform are located within the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. On occasion we deliver and/or pick-up critical packages for our clients in cities outside the Piedmont Triad. Please contact us for more information about your particular business needs.

Q. Do you make same day deliveries after 5:00 p.m.?

A. Yes. We are capable of delivery and/or pick-up of critical packages for our clients after 5:00 pm in the Piedmont Triad region.

Q. Can I request a package be delivered at a specific time and/or to a certain person?

A. Yes. Your satisfaction is of utmost importance. Therefore, we will deliver at a specific time to a specific person.

Q. What do you do if you have instructions to deliver to a specific individual who is not present when delivering the package?

A. Trans City Couriers instructs all of its couriers to never make unilateral decisions. If the specific person is not at the delivery location, the courier will contact dispatch for instructions. Customer Service in turn will contact you for further instructions. If you are unavailable, the courier will be instructed to retain the package pending future instructions.
